Turkish FM Meets US Adviser on Africa Affairs at Antalya Forum


(MENAFN) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met on Saturday with US senior adviser for Arab and African affairs Massad Boulos during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) 2026, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.

As stated by reports, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the forum, which has gathered international officials and policymakers in Türkiye to discuss a wide range of global issues.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry also noted that Fidan held a series of additional bilateral meetings throughout the event. These included talks with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum continues through Sunday, bringing together heads of state, ministers, and senior officials from around the world for discussions focused on international stability and cooperation.

Held under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and hosted by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, this year’s forum is centered on the theme “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” with a focus on addressing global challenges amid rising geopolitical tensions.
