HH The Amir Receives Written Message From South Korean President

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has received a written message from the President Lee Jae Myung of the South Korea, expressing solidarity with Doha following recent regional developments.

Lee conveyed his country's support for the State of Qatar in the aftermath of Iranian attacks on Qatar and the wider region. He also expressed hope for a negotiated settlement to bring the current crisis to an end.

The letter was delivered on Monday by the South Korean Presidential Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik, during a meeting with HH the Amir at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.

During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations between Qatar and South Korea, with particular focus on cooperation in energy and economic sectors. They also addressed the latest regional and international developments meeting was attended by HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi.
