FM, U.S. Counterpart Discuss Ceasefire Efforts In Lebanon

Amman, Apr. 10 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi, spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio over the phone today, Friday.
Safadi and Rubio talked about initiatives to bring about a truce in Lebanon as well as humanitarian aid to support the Lebanese government in meeting the needs of displaced people.
The two ministers also talked about measures to bring about long-term stability in the area after the US and Iran reached a cease-fire.
