And Just Like That... Carrie Bradshaw's Closet Hits The Auction Block

A television wardrobe can become a market, and Julien's Auctions is proving the point with more than 500 props, costumes, and furnishings from all three seasons of And Just Like That.... The online bidding opened April 2 and will conclude with a live sale on April 30 and May 1, with several lots already climbing past their presale estimates.

The headline item is the Rolex watch Carrie Bradshaw gave John Preston, known as Mr. Big, for their two-year wedding anniversary. Engraved with the words“Me and You. Just – Us Two,” the watch is identified in the sale as a prop rather than a genuine Rolex. Even so, bidding has already reached $2,500, more than twice its high estimate.

The auction's appeal lies in its mix of costume drama and interior design. Carrie's cream and pastel blue luggage set has reached $1,500, while the brown Louis Vuitton garment bag, duffle, and passport holder used by Anthony Marantino has climbed to $2,500. Carrie's Louis XV-style silvered mirror, which hung on the second floor of her Gramercy apartment, is also at $2,500. Nearby, her black lacquered cabinets carry an estimate of $400 to $600.

Other lots point to the show's carefully calibrated visual language. Miranda's coral-colored three-seat sofa has a high estimate of $1,200, and a vintage Art Deco foosball table from Aidan's farmhouse carries a high estimate of $4,000. The manuscript and paperback of Carrie's memoir, Love & Lost, have also drawn attention, reaching $700 and $900 respectively. A pair of large metal signs for the Hot Fellas Bakery are at $450, and a stack of 97 vinyl records from Carrie and Big's apartment is at $1,000.

Warner Bros. Discovery will donate a portion of the proceeds to You Gotta Believe, a New York-based foster care charity. For fans and collectors alike, the sale offers a rare chance to acquire the objects that gave the series its particular texture - from the polished surfaces of Carrie's apartment to the accessories that helped define its characters.
