Transport Ministry Reiterates Readiness To Enhance Qatar's Aviation System
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Transport reiterated its commitment to enhancing aviation system readiness and activate emergency plans when needed.
MOT in a statement noted that it is ready to keep the country's airspace safe and ensure business continuity round-the-clock, maintain highest air safety level and enhance readiness at Qatar airports.
For emergency management and regional coordination, the Ministry is securing safe flight landing and diversions when needed, activating emergency air corridor L564, constantly coordinating with GCC and ICAO MID as well as activating constant communication channels with bodies concerned and neighboring airports.

While the Ministry is relentless in its effort to support operations and travelers, it is also regulating exceptional passenger and cargo flights, coordinating stranded travelers' situations and facilitating their mobility, addressing foreign aircraft situations and facilitating their departure and publishing emergency alerts and heightening security measures at airports.
