Kuwait Intercepts Ballistic Missiles And Drones Amid Iranian Attacks
Kuwait: Kuwait has intercepted a missile and drone attack, the country's Armed Forces reported on Monday April 6, 2026.
Defense Ministry Spokesman Col. Saud Al Atwan confirmed that 14 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 46 hostile drones that entered the country's airspace were successfully intercepted over the past 24 hours.
Al Atwan said in a press briefing that the interceptions led to debris falling in a residential area in the north, resulting in injuries.
He added that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team of the Army Engineering Corps responded to 22 reports, while the army's fire teams handled three other incidents, amid ongoing Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait.
