Haryana Forms District Panels To Fast-Track MSME Clearances
18-Member Committees Across Districts
Under the amended Haryana Enterprise Promotion (Amendment) Rules 2026, each district will have an 18-member committee chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, reported The Times Of India.
These panels will include senior officials from multiple departments and will be responsible for streamlining approval processes, fast-tracking clearances for MSME projects and enhancing inter-departmental coordination.
Boost to Ease of Doing Business
The move is aimed at replacing procedural delays with a more transparent and time-bound clearance mechanism, thereby improving investor confidence and accelerating industrial development.
The initiative aligns with Haryana's broader push to simplify regulations and create a business-friendly environment, particularly for MSMEs, which play a key role in employment generation and regional economic growth.
Focus on Investment and Job Creation
By decentralising approvals to the district level, the government aims to attract new investments, reduce project delays, promote entrepreneurship and generate employment opportunities.
The reform is expected to strengthen grassroots-level industrialisation, especially in smaller towns and districts.
Part of Larger Reform Push
The step builds on recent policy changes under the state's enterprise promotion framework, which focus on reducing compliance burden and improving service delivery for businesses.
The introduction of district clearance panels is likely to speed up MSME project implementation, making Haryana a more competitive destination for industrial investments.
