Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde Claims Priest's Blessings Cured Her Chronic Throat Ailment: 'Medicines Didn't Help'
Speaking at a public event in Borivali on Tuesday, Tawde said she had been dealing with the issue for nearly two years despite undergoing treatment, news agency PTI reported.
“My voice was not like this. I told Param Gurudev ji that I was taking medicines, but nothing was helping. I am in shock,” she said.

“He blessed me, and today I can speak in front of you... This truly feels like a miracle because I was in great distress. But you can hear my voice now,” she said.

He added that BJP leader Amit Satam had described her rise to the mayor's post as another“miracle”, alongside support from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union minister Amit Shah.
