(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" stated this, citing the occupation-run "Krymenergo."

The 220 kV "Kafa" electrical substation has a capacity of 250 MVA and cost RUB 1.9 billion, with plans for expansion to 330 kV.

The substation is a key node of the energy bridge between Russia's Krasnodar region and Crimea. It has three 220 kV overhead line connections from the Taman substation.

At the "Kafa" substation, the 220 kV overhead line between the Feodosiiska and Simferopolska substations has been cut. The Simferopol substation is also connected via a new 220 kV transmission line.

As Ukrinform previously reported, following a Russian attack on the morning of March 26, 33,400 consumers in Odesa region were left without electricity, and power engineers restored supply to 31,500 subscribers.
