Azerbaijani National Football Team Wins International Tournament

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. The Azerbaijan
national football team played its final match in the FIFA Series -
2026 international tournament, Trend reports.
The Azerbaijani team faced Sierra Leone.
Since the regular time of the match, held at the Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium in Sumgait, ended in a 1:1 draw, a penalty shootout was held. Azerbaijan's players proved more accurate in the shootout (9:8), becoming the winners of the international tournament.
The Sierra Leone team finished in second place.
