Over 1,200 Bomb Threats Reported Across Ukraine In Hours, Police Say
Mass emails began arriving on March 30 from 11:00, targeting government bodies, local authorities, educational institutions, businesses, banks, and other organizations, warning of alleged explosives in buildings.
Explosive ordnance units, K9 teams, and investigative task forces have been deployed to the sites. Inspections and checks are ongoing in line with all safety protocols.
So far, about 20% of the reports have been processed, and none of the bomb threats have been confirmed.
Police are taking steps to identify those responsible for spreading the false reports. Authorities do not rule out that this may be another information and psychological operation conducted by the enemy.
In Kyiv, police are also carrying out inspections at locations mentioned in the anonymous threats.
