Heavy Rains And Flooding Kill 17 In Afghanistan, Damage Homes And Shops

Amman, March 29 (Petra) -- Seventeen people were killed and 26 others injured due to heavy rains and flooding that swept across several provinces in Afghanistan over the past 24 hours.
According to Afghanistan's Tolo News Agency, the spokesperson for the Afghan National Disaster Management Authority, Yousuf Hamed, said the floods destroyed 37 homes, while 110 homes and 10 commercial shops were partially damaged.
