Zelensky: Russia Took Satellite Images Of U.S. Airbase In Saudi Arabia Days Before Iranian Strike

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement in an interview with the American television network NBC News on Saturday in Qatar, according to Ukrinform.

Zelensky stated that he is 100% certain that Russia is sharing such intelligence with Iran to help Tehran attack U.S. troops in the Middle East.

“I think Russia is interested in helping the Iranians. And I don't believe-I know-that they are sharing information. Are they helping the Iranians? Of course. By what percentage? One hundred percent,” he said.

The president stated that, based on Ukraine's experience, Russia's repeated photographing of targets over several days is a sign that an attack is being planned.

“We know that if they take pictures once, they are preparing. If they take pictures a second time, it's like a simulation. A third time means that in one or two days they will attack,” he said.

As reported by Ukrinform, on March 28, during his visit to Qatar, Volodymyr Zelensky held a Zoom conference with journalists, where, among other things, he shared a brief summary of the daily presidential briefing he receives from Ukrainian intelligence services.

The report states that Russian satellites took images of the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia on March 20, 23, and 25.

On March 26, Iran attacked this base, which houses American and Saudi troops. As a result of the Iranian strike on the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia on Friday, 12 American servicemen were wounded, two of them seriously.
