Doha, Qatar: Alaraby TV said its bureau in Tehran sustained significant damage after a missile strike targeted the building housing its office on Sunday morning.
According to a press release issued by Alaraby TV, the attack occurred at around 8:45 a.m. local time (Tehran time), hitting two floors of the building, including the level where the television's office is located.
The Iranian Red Crescent reported that 10 people were injured in the incident, the statement said.
It added that the initial field reports and eyewitness accounts indicated that the strike was carried out by a missile launched from a drone.
The building is located in Tehran's Heravi district and houses several commercial offices and media-related businesses.
The broadcaster noted that the incident occurred while its correspondent, Hazem Kallas, was live on air.
Alaraby TV condemned the attack, describing it as a violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions, and stressed that targeting journalists or civilian facilities is unacceptable.
The statement added that its team in Tehran will continue providing coverage despite the incident.
