3 Detained Over Car Theft In Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three individuals have been arrested on charges of car theft in the eastern Nangarhar province, police said in a statement on Sunday.
In the statement, the police headquarters said the suspects were detained in the 1st police district of Jalalabad city.
It added that the suspects had been stealing vehicles in Jalalabad and transporting them to specific locations, where the cars were either repainted or dismantled before being sold at lower prices.
Police also recovered several vehicle parts, some license plates, and one stolen car from the suspects. The statement further noted that the detainees had confessed to their crimes.
