(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, March 1 (Petra) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi received calls and messages on Sunday from several foreign ministers of friendly countries affirming their full solidarity with Jordan against Iranian attacks on its territory and standing with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to protect the safety, security, and stability of its citizens.
Safadi and his counterparts discussed the implications of the dangerous escalation in the region, where Safadi reaffirmed Jordan's consistent position of working towards security and stability and relying on diplomacy and dialogue to achieve de-escalation.
The minister also renewed Jordan's condemnation of the attack on its territory and on other Arab sister states, describing it as a dangerous and unjustified escalation and a violation of state sovereignty.
Safadi expressed his thanks to the foreign ministers of Australia, Uzbekistan, Portugal, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Singapore, and Canada for their solidarity with the Kingdom, stressing continued work to promote security and stability in the region.
