King Receives Call From Lebanon President

Amman, March 1 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call on Sunday from Lebanon President Gen. Joseph Aoun, during which they discussed the need to immediately restore comprehensive calm in the region.
His Majesty reaffirmed that Jordan will continue to take all measures to protect its security and stability, preserve its sovereignty, and ensure the safety of its citizens.
The King also underscored the need to halt the dangerous escalation in the region, prevent it from spreading to other countries, and employ dialogue and diplomatic channels to resolve crises.
