Arab League Condemns Attack On Oman's Duqm Port


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, March 1 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary-General Ahmad Abulgheit on Sunday condemned the targeting of Duqm Port in Oman and an oil tanker off its coast, expressing strong denunciation of attacks on facilities in a country that has played a serious mediation role between Iran and the United States.
Abulgheit reiterated his condemnation of Iranian attacks on civilian facilities in Gulf Arab states, stressing that such actions violate sovereignty, international law, and humanitarian law, endangering civilian lives.
He warned of the consequences of uncontrolled Iranian military decisions on the safety of people, facilities, maritime navigation, and energy supplies, criticizing the massive launch of missiles and drones against civilian targets.
He reaffirmed full solidarity with all affected Arab states in measures to protect their sovereignty, security, and stability. (end)
