PM Swears In New PDTRA Chairman

Amman, Mar. 1 (Petra) –The new chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA), Adnan Sawa'ir, took the legal oath of office before Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan on Sunday, following the issuance of a Royal Decree approving the Cabinet's decision to appoint him.
During the swearing-in ceremony, the PM also swore in Ahmed Ababneh as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) and Razan Shafi'i as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC).
The oath followed the issuance of 2 Royal decrees approving the Cabinet's decision to appoint Ababneh and Shafi'i in their new positions.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Dr. Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Abdul Latif Najdawi, and other senior civilan officials.
