Amir Receives Telephone Call From Turkish President

Doha, Qatar: The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a telephone call from His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkiye.

At the beginning of the call, the Turkish President expressed his reassurance about the situation in the State of Qatar following the brutal Iranian aggression, stressing Turkiye's strong condemnation of the targeting of Qatari territory and brotherly Arab countries, and its categorical rejection of anything that affects the sovereignty of countries and the security of their peoples.

For his part, His Highness the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Erdogan for his sincere brotherly feelings, and for the solidarity and support he showed, which reflects the depth of the strong ties that unite the two countries.

The call also addressed developments in the regional situation and their repercussions on peace and stability, with both sides stressing the importance of de-escalation and intensifying diplomatic efforts to maintain the region's security and stability.
