A woman and her child were injured after debris from an intercepted drone in Abu Dhabi hit Etihad Towers. The incident also caused minor material damage.

Loud sounds were heard in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for a second day on Sunday as Iran's retaliatory strikes on neighbouring Gulf states in response to US and Israeli strikes on the Islamic Republic.
The authorities clarified that the sounds heard across the emirate were the result of successful interception operations. The public has been urged not to spread rumours or misleading information and to obtain information only from official sources, which will announce updates as soon as they become available.
Earlier, authorities confirmed that two people were injured in Dubai after shrapnel from drones fell on two homes following their interception by air defence systems.
Dubai authorities confirmed that debris from drones intercepted by air defences fell in the courtyards of two homes. In a statement DMO informed that the injured have received the necessary medical care.
As the UAE defence forces intercept of Iranian strikes, authorities reassured residents that the situation remains under control.
