Kuwait Amir Receives Phone Call From Lebanese Pres.

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call Sunday, from Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, who expressed reassurance regarding the State of Kuwait, its leadership and people following the Iranian attack on its territory.
President Aoun expressed Lebanon's strong condemnation and denunciation of this blatant aggression, describing it as a violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
He affirmed Lebanon's full solidarity with Kuwait and support for all measures to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability, stressing readiness to mobilize all capabilities and resources to support Kuwait and its people from all harm.
For his part, His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere appreciation to President Aoun, wishing him continued good health and wellbeing. (end)
