Pakistan Launches Operation“Ghazab-Ul-Haq” Against Afghan Taliban Along Pak-Afghan Border
- Haq, in response to unprovoked attacks by the Afghan Taliban along the Pak-Afghan border, security sources confirmed.
According to officials, Pakistani security forces carried out heavy retaliatory strikes, destroying multiple Taliban hideouts and forcing insurgents to flee. The Taliban reportedly initiated firing at various points along the border, prompting swift and strong responses from Pakistan's forces.
In the Nawagai sector of Bajaur and Tirah in Khyber, the army delivered a robust counterattack, while in Chitral, Taliban checkpoints were specifically targeted and destroyed. In Mohmand's Gursal sector, Pakistani troops continued heavy retaliatory fire, eliminating three more Taliban operatives and demolishing several of their positions.
Security sources confirmed that in Bajaur, two Taliban posts were destroyed, and the death toll among Afghan Taliban fighters has now reached around 30.
Officials added that Taliban attempts to attack Pakistani posts using quadcopters were successfully repelled, with all drones being shot down. Pakistani forces continue to carry out shelling using both small and heavy weaponry, while drones are being employed to precisely target Taliban positions.
Security sources also warned that the Taliban are spreading false claims and fake videos on media and social platforms. Pakistan's security forces remain fully prepared to safeguard the border and respond decisively and immediately to any acts of aggression.
