Citizens Show Record Turnout At Sheikh Jassim Holy Quran Contest In Doha
A total of 369 boys and 384 girls have registered to participate in the Juniors category this year, totaling 753 participants. They will compete in memorizing one part of the last five sections of the Holy Qur'an, within age requirements designed to encourage early memorization and strengthen proper recitation skills from a young age.
The males have been tested at Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque, with the Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance -Women's Activity Center in Al Waab being allocated for females, amid meticulous organization and a spiritually prepared atmosphere that fosters reassurance and focus.
The organizing panel endorses the online judging system to ensure accuracy and transparency in grade monitoring, with qualified judging panels of national talents from Qatari males and females assuming the calibration mission based on the highest objective criteria and perfection.
The performance levels showcased by these Qatari young people have been a vindication of unwavering productive educational efforts in homes and schools, as well as in the Holy Qur'an education classes at Awqaf centers.
