Kuwait Youth Min. Honors KNRC Winners

KUWAIT, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Tareq Al-Jalahma Wednesday honored the winners of the third edition of the Kuwait National Robotics Competition (KNRC), organized by the Public Authority for Youth.
Addressing the closing ceremony, the minister underlined the Kuwaiti wise leadership's commitment to backing the championship in a way that contributes to empowering Kuwaiti youth and providing a nurturing environment for developing their scientific and technical skills.
The minister said that this is primarily meant to prepare a generation capable of keeping pace with the requirements of modern advancement.
He added that the championship featured competitions in the fields of (innovation), (cybersurge), (drones), and (VEX robotics), and included primary, intermediate, secondary, and university educational stages.
He noted that it reflected the advanced scientific awareness, innovative capabilities, and positive competitive spirit of Kuwaiti youth, which qualifies them to contribute effectively to the knowledge economy and technological advancement.
The Kuwait National Robotics Competition (KNRC) is an annual event that brings together students from across the country to compete in innovative robotics. (end)
