Amir Receives Phone Call From French President

Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received a phone call on Sunday from the President of the French Republic HE Emmanuel Macron.
During the call, they exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, particularly efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.
They also discussed developments related to the Iranian file and their implications for regional security, as well as the latest situation in the Gaza Strip and ongoing efforts to reach a ceasefire and protect civilians.
The call further addressed ways to support Lebanon's stability and preserve its security and sovereignty.
The two sides also reviewed the strategic cooperation between the State of Qatar and the French Republic and explored ways to further strengthen it across various fields.
