VIDEO: Philppine Mayor Miraculously Survives Attack With Anti-Tank Missile

Philippines: The mayor of a Philippine municipality miraculously survived an attempt on his life after assailants fired a B40 anti-tank rocket and assault rifles at his armored vehicle on Sunday, local media reported.
According to Philippine news outlet Philstar, two of Mayor Akmad Ampatuan Sr.'s escorts were injured during the attack.
The gunmen were later pursued by volunteer community watchmen, policemen, and soldiers and cornered before being eliminated in a gunfight, Philstar reported.
Security in Shariff Aguak was tightened following the incident, according to local authorities, with investigations taking place to identify those who masterminded the attempt on the mayor.
