War Update: 127 Clashes On Front Lines Over Past Day, Over Third In Pokrovsk Sector

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, providing operational data as of 08:00 on Sunday, January 25, according to Ukrinform.

According to updated information, yesterday Russian forces carried out strikes on Ukrainian territory using 25 missiles and 248 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 7,503 kamikaze drones.

Additionally, the occupiers shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 3,720 times, including 112 times with multiple launch rocket systems.

Guided aerial bomb strikes hit Zirnytsia, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Liubytske, Vozdvyzhivka, and Preobrazhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck five areas of Russian army concentration over the past day.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russia dropped seven guided bombs and fired 107 times on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including twice using MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, six Russian assaults were repelled near Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, and Fyholivka, toward Kruhle and Chuhunivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, two enemy attacks were repelled near Pishchane and toward Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched six attacks aimed at advancing near Drobysheve, Zarichne, Torske, and toward Druzheliubivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, one Russian attack near Zvanivka was repelled.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two clashes were recorded near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Markove.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the invaders launched 13 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka, toward Stepanivka and Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 44 enemy attacks near Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Filiia, toward Bilytske, Dorozhnie, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, and Ivanivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, four enemy attacks were repelled near Zelenyi Hai and Zlahoda.

In the Huliaipole sector, 16 enemy attempts to advance were repelled near Huliaipole and Myrne, toward Sviatopetrivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Dobropillia, Zelene, Varvarivka, and Zaliznychne.

In the Orikhiv sector, two Russian attacks were repelled near Plavni and Prymorske.

In the Dnipro River sector, Russian forces launched one unsuccessful attempted assault.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, there were no signs of enemy offensive group formation.
