FGS Global Launches AI Advisory Practice, Acquires Memetica
(MENAFN- PRovoke)
NEW YORK-FGS Global has launched an AI advisory practice and acquired threat intelligence consultancy Memetica, expanding its capabilities in AI-driven communications strategy, reputational risk and digital threat detection.
The new practice sits within FGS Global's recently formed AI and innovation unit, led by global head Aaron Kwittken, who joined the firm in September, and brings together the firm's AI strategy, analytics and technology development under a single platform.
The launch builds on what FGS describes as a multi-year investment in AI capabilities, as client demand grows for guidance on using AI to improve communications effectiveness while managing emerging risks tied to disinformation, deepfakes and online manipulation.
The AI Advisory practice is supported by a global team of more than 200 specialists and includes FGS Labs, the firm's development group behind Fergus, its AI-powered platform.
“Organizations today face a dual imperative: harness AI to optimize workflows and strengthen stakeholder engagement while also safeguarding against AI-generated threats to reputation and operations,” Kwittken said.
As part of the launch, FGS has acquired and integrated Memetica, adding capabilities in early warning detection, tipping point analysis and threat mitigation across social and dark web platforms.
FGS said the practice will focus on four areas: AI-enhanced visibility and engagement, AI risk and crisis management, strategic intelligence and analytics, and organizational AI transformation.
