Air Defense Forces Destroy 53 Of 61 Russian Drones
Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 5, the enemy attacked with 61 Shahed and Gerbera UCAVs and other types of drones from the directions of Millerovo, Kursk, Orel (Russian Federation), and temporarily occupied Donetsk. About 40 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 53 drones in the north, center, and east of the country.
Eight UCAVs were recorded hitting six locations.
