Türkiye Voices Support for Yemen’s Stability Efforts
(MENAFN) Türkiye emphasized on Saturday its backing for the initiatives of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council to restore peace and stability in the country. The Foreign Ministry welcomed the proposal for a broad conference to be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
In its statement, the ministry noted that it is watching developments in Yemen’s southern provinces with concern, warning that these events pose risks to the nation’s sovereignty, territorial unity, and the security of neighboring states.
“We reiterate our support for efforts aimed at achieving a lasting political solution in Yemen based on constitutional legitimacy,” the ministry declared, reaffirming Türkiye’s commitment to a peaceful resolution.
