Cambodia reports growth in international air travel in 2025


(MENAFN) Cambodia records 6.33 million international air passengers during the first 11 months of 2025, marking a 13 percent increase compared to the same period a year earlier, according to official aviation data.

Figures released by the country’s civil aviation authorities show that 36 international and domestic airlines operate a total of 58,792 flights to and from Cambodia’s three international airports between January and November, reflecting an 11 percent rise year on year.

Air freight activity also shows significant growth, with cargo volumes increasing by 19 percent to reach 84,475 tonnes over the same period.

Cambodia currently operates three international airports: Techo International Airport, Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, and Sihanouk International Airport. Together, these airports handle an average of 1,314 flights each week, the report notes.
