Head-on crash in Afghanistan's Kandahar kills five, injures two

(MENAFN) Five people were killed and two others were injured early Sunday after a passenger vehicle collided head-on with a truck in Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan, according to local authorities.

The accident took place inside Kandahar city, the provincial capital. Officials said the victims included a woman and a child, all of whom died at the scene, while two additional passengers were hurt in the crash.
