Sweden Contributes Additional EUR 63.8M To Ukraine Energy Support Fund
"The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) has transferred EUR 63.82 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. The total volume of Sida's contributions to the Fund now amounts to EUR 203.08 million. Of this amount, EUR 44.68 million was allocated to a separate special account dedicated to ensuring nuclear safety," the statement said.
The funds already provided by Sida were used to procure equipment for Ukrenergo and for distribution system operators in the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv regions. In addition, Sweden helped finance a project to develop distributed generation in one of Ukraine's most energy-deficient regions.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received nearly 2,000 shipments of equipment for energy workers. This humanitarian assistance has been provided by 38 partner countries.
