Over 191,000 Students Begin 1St Semester Exams Across Kuwait

KUWAIT, Dec 17 (KUNA) -- More than 191,000 students in middle school and Grades 10 and 11 began their first-semester exams on Wednesday for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The Education Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Eng. Hamad Al-Hamad said the exams are running in a well-prepared environment reflecting strong school organization.
Speaking to KUNA, he said that the ministry is monitoring the process closely and ensuring the best possible conditions for students.
Al-Hamad noted that exam committees have been fully equipped and necessary needs secured to guarantee fair, organized testing, while stressing adherence to approved health and educational procedures.
For his part, Director of Hawalli Educational Affairs said study resources and question-bank materials are available through the mobile apps "With Salem and Abeer" and "With Hamad Chat", offering around 100,000 practice questions.
Middle-school exams continue until December 25, while Grade 10 and 11 exams run until December 29. Grade 12 exams for both sciences and arts will begin Sunday, January 4, and continue until January 15. (end)
