“Megaliths in the Roots Garden” is an artwork that extends over two floors. Tree roots stretch into the lower floor, hanging in the air as if floating between two worlds. Around them, clusters of megaliths rise into the upper level, creating a striking connection between nature and the built environment. This hidden part of the artwork tells a story of resilience and coexistence, showing how life can thrive in unexpected places.

The journey at teamLab Phenomena continues with“Massless Suns and Dark Suns”, where visitors explore light as a living, ever-changing medium.
Guests interact with glowing spheres, creating a dynamic space that shifts and evolves with their presence, as shown in the image below. Just like the floating roots in“Megaliths in the Roots Garden”, this artwork exists in perception, blurring the line between light and darkness.
The experience invites visitors to discover how nature, structure, and perception come together to reshape the idea of art.
Both new artworks exemplify teamLab Phenomena's ethos of“living art”, where each visit offers a unique, ever-changing experience.
Takashi Kudo, Communications Director of teamLab, said, "The introduction of these two new artworks reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and reimagining how art can engage the senses and encourage exploration."
