White House Chief of Staff Confirms Trump's Presence in Epstein Ties

(MENAFN) Donald Trump's presence in the Jeffrey Epstein documents has been confirmed by White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, directly contradicting the president's longstanding assertions that such records represent a "hoax."

In a stunning interview released Tuesday by a magazine, Wiles acknowledged the president's documented connection to the disgraced financier. "We know he's in the file," she stated, before adding that Trump "was on (Epstein's) plane, … he's on the manifest." She characterized their past relationship as resembling "sort of young, single playboys together."

Wiles also took aim at Attorney General Pam Bondi's approach to managing the controversial documents, declaring: "There is no client list, and it sure as hell wasn't on her desk."

The explosive comments triggered swift condemnation from opposition quarters. Democratic National Committee Rapid Response Director Kendall Witmer issued a statement asserting that "even Donald Trump's chief of staff can't shield him from his Epstein nightmare," while accusing the president of public deception and dodging accountability amid intensifying calls for full document disclosure.

The same Vanity Fair profile featured additional incendiary remarks from Wiles, who accused Trump of wielding executive power for "score settling" and characterized him as possessing an "alcoholic's personality."

Her criticism extended to the president's inner circle: Vice President JD Vance was branded a "conspiracy theorist," Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought was labeled a "right-wing absolute zealot," and tech billionaire Elon Musk was described as an "avowed ketamine" user.

Regarding economic policy, Wiles conceded Trump's tariffs had been "more painful than I expected."

The president had previously praised his chief of staff, stating last week: "She's the great chief of staff. … Susie is the greatest."
