Health Minister Jalali-Led Team Travels To India
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Minister of Public Health has departed for India at the head of a delegation to strengthen health cooperation.
In a statement issued today (Tuesday), the Ministry of Public Health said minister Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali traveled to India at the official invitation of the Indian government, leading a delegation.
The statement added that the visit, aimed at enhancing health cooperation between the two countries, facilitating the exchange of experiences, and coordinating joint efforts, will last several days.
According to the ministry, during the visit, Jalali will hold separate meetings with various Indian officials, particularly health authorities, and will participate in several organized programs.
The statement further noted that Jalali will also hold discussions on creating opportunities for capacity building of Afghan health workers, the import of standard medicines into Afghanistan, medical equipment, and other related issues.
