Dr Anna Champneys is a lecturer in wildlife conservation and animal behaviour. Her PhD research focused on the factors affecting distribution and habitat selection of water shrews. Prior to her PhD she undertook an internship with the People's Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) investigating the importance of hedgerows to small mammals. Anna's interests include animal behaviour, behavioural ecology and biodiversity conservation. She is currently the course leader for the BSc (Honours) degree in Wildlife Conservation at Nottingham Trent University.
