16 Afghan Nationals Arrested In D.I. Khan For Lack Of Legal Documents
Police in Dera Ismail Khan have arrested 16 Afghan nationals during an operation at the Khati Check Post for not possessing valid legal documents.
According to police officials, none of the individuals had residential or travel documents during the search, leading to their detention.
Authorities have registered a case against the arrested individuals under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act.
Meanwhile, a day earlier, the Nowshera district administration issued formal eviction notices to families residing in four decommissioned Afghan refugee camps, directing them to vacate the premises within three days.

According to Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Irfanullah Mehsud, notices were served to Afghan families living in the four former refugee camps in Akora Khattak by Assistant Commissioner Jahangira, Anees-ur-Rehman, along with a police team.
