Air Arabia Starts Daily Flights To Krabi
Dhaka: Air Arabia on Saturday (Nov 28) launched its first direct daily flights between Sharjah and the Thai city of Krabi, expanding direct air links between the United Arab Emirates and Thailand's southwest coast.
The inaugural flight departed Sharjah International Airport and was welcomed on arrival by Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Phibat Rachakitbarkarn, alongside senior officials from Air Arabia and Krabi Airport.
Adel Al Ali, Air Arabia Group CEO, said the new service marks a further step in the carrier's Southeast Asia expansion plans.
He said the daily route offers passengers more flexible and comfortable travel options and strengthens growing tourism and trade ties between the UAE and Thailand.
With Krabi joining Bangkok and Phuket on the airline's network from Sharjah, travellers will have easier access to Thailand's most popular destinations, he added.
