King Attends Tactical Night Drill With Participation Of Crown Prince

Zarqa, November 24 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, attended on Monday a tactical night drill conducted by the 101st Special Battalion, a unit of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces, with the participation of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the battalion's assistant commander.
According to a royal court statement, the exercise, also attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, was conducted with support from Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft, simulating the scenario of a tactical operations room for conducting unconventional operations.
The drill included reconnaissance operations, dealing with targets using drones, search and rescue missions, and joint attack operations using night vision equipment, in addition to aerial support.
At the conclusion of the exercise, His Majesty presented the Crown Prince with the Special Forces sword patch, marking His Royal Highness' completion of all requirements for obtaining it.
