Kuwait Participates In Arab Symposium On Military Training


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- The Arab symposium for heads of military training bodies began in Cairo on Sunday, to discuss the role of self-learning in developing the capabilities of armies and strengthening their readiness to face future challenges, with the participation of Kuwait.
In opening remarks, Tarek Abdulsalam, Minister Plenipotentiary and Director of the Military Affairs Department in the National Security Sector of the Arab League, said the symposium represents an important forum that reflects the depth of Arab military cooperation and supports efforts to enhance the capabilities of the armed forces in Arab countries in line with rapid security and technological changes.
He added that choosing the symposium's topic comes amid the growing importance of self-learning in building the military skills needed to keep pace with technological developments and to increase the readiness of personnel and their ability to interact with modern operational environments.
Abdulsalam explained that self-learning represents an integrated approach that relies on individuals acquiring skills from multiple sources, making it a fundamental track for preparing leaders and those responsible for training in Arab military institutions.
Kuwait is participating with a delegation headed by the Chief of the Military Education Authority, Naval Brigadier General Abdallah Al-Dousari.
The five-day symposium examines the role of self-learning in developing the future capabilities of the Arab armed forces and its impact on training systems and military operations. (end)
