Kuwait University Hosts H2 Grand Prix Regional Championship In April


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait University (KU) said on Sunday that it would host in April 2026 the Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GrandPrix) Regional Championship at the Sabah Al-Salem University City with the participation of high school and university students.
In a statement, Kuwait University indicated that it would co-organize the championship with the Public Authority for Youth in partnership with Al-Sayer Group and the Czech Horizon Educational Company.
The event comes as part of efforts to harness hydrogen as a clean and renewable source of energy, added the statement, noting that participating students would benefit immensely from this event by creating racing cars using this fuel source.
The university affirmed that winners would qualify for the world tournament finals in Switzerland in June 2026.
Ten pioneering schools and universities will partake in the April championship, which is part of a three-year program determining new career paths in clean technology and sustainable future. (end)
