I have conducted various qualitative projects to better understand Black student life at predominantly White institutions of higher education. My work has been published in journals such as the Review of Higher Education, Race Ethnicity and Education, and Urban Education. My first book, Black Campus Life: The Worlds Black Students Make at a Historically White Institution, is published with SUNY Press.
