(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Monday His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, along with his accompanying delegation, on their official visit to the country.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between Kuwait and Vietnam and ways to further enhance and expand cooperation to serve their mutual interests. The discussions also emphasized strengthening the strategic partnership between the two friendly nations, in addition to addressing issues of common concern and the latest regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by Advisor at the Prime Minister's Diwan and Head of the Honorary Mission Sheikh Dr. Basel Hamoud Al-Sabah; Director of His Highness the Amir's Office retired Lt. Gen. Jamal Mohammad Al-Thiyab; Amiri Diwan Undersecretary Sheikh Abdulaziz Mishal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Deputy Foreign Affairs Undersecretary at the Amiri Diwan Mazen Issa Al-Issa; Deputy Chairman and CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah; and Kuwait's Ambassador to Vietnam Yousif Ashour Al-Sabbagh.
