Dr. Tom Allen is an Extension and Research Professor in Mississippi State University's Department of Agricultural Science and Plant Protection stationed at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville. He specializes in plant diseases of row crops with firsthand experience in corn, rice, and wheat. His work focuses on disease diagnostics, management strategies, and fungicide resistance. Allen conducts state-level disease surveys, peer-reviewed research and regularly translates science into practice for producers through field days, bulletins, and online updates.
