(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The inspectors of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Department of Land Protection have taken part in the Camel Mzayen (beauty) Festival held in the central region.

This initiative is part of the ministry's plan to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to preserve the integrity of natural ecosystems in areas of desert gatherings.
During the event, the inspectors from the Department supervised the designated camping and settlement sites, ensuring adherence to guidelines governing camel handling, while working to prevent any practices that might negatively impact the desert environment or harm biodiversity.

The inspectors also made sure to enhance the awareness of the participants on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and avoiding harm to wild plants and wildlife, contributing to the protection of Qatar's environmental heritage and the sustainability of its natural resources.

This participation comes as part of a series of field initiatives and engagements implemented by the Department of Land Protection in cooperation with the organizers of national festivals and events, with the aim of raising environmental awareness and reinforcing a culture of shared responsibility among participants and visitors toward Qatar's environment.
