Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi Seeks A Summit With North Korea On Return Of Abducted Japanese Nationals
Takaichi made the comments at an assembly concerning the return of Japanese nationals, abducted by North Korea in the 1970s and 1980s, according to Kyodo.
The Japanese government officially lists 17 people as abducted during that period and suspects Pyongyang's involvement in many other disappearances, Kyodo reported earlier.
