UN Independent International Commission Of Inquiry On Ukraine To Visit Ukraine Next Week


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The information was provided to a Ukrinform correspondent by the Vienna-based Secretariat of the Commission.

“Members of the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine will undertake their next visit to the country on 3-6 November 2025. The Commissioners will visit Kyiv as part of their ongoing fact-finding mission to investigate alleged human rights violations and abuses, and international humanitarian law violations, and to meet with victims and witnesses,” the Secretariat said.

All three members of the Commission - Erik Møse, Pablo de Greiff, and Vrinda Grover - will take part in the visit. Their programme in Kyiv includes meetings with representatives of the Government, civil society, and United Nations entities.

A press conference by the members of the Commission is scheduled for 6 November, following the visit.

As reported by Ukrinform, the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine is an independent body established by the UN Human Rights Council to investigate all alleged violations and abuses of human rights, breaches of international humanitarian law, and related crimes committed in the context of the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine. The Commission is composed of Erik Møse (Chair), Pablo de Greiff, and Vrinda Grover.
